Privacy Policy

The short version

• We never sell your information or use it for ads.
• We use your business information only to market your business for you.
• Your data travels encrypted. Our AI providers may not use it to train their models.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data or to delete it at any time.

1. What we collect

• Account: your name, email address and sign-in details (passwords are stored only as a one-way scrambled hash), and your language and settings.
• Your business: name, address, phone, website, services, hours, logo, colors, photos you upload, offers, and what you tell Sparky about your business and customers.
• Public business information: your public Google listing, website and public reviews, which we look up so Sparky knows your business.
• Content we make for you: posts, campaigns, images, videos, pages and ad drafts, and your edits and approvals.
• Connected accounts: when you connect social accounts, we receive the access our posting partner needs to publish and read results (like likes, reach and comments). We never see or store your social media passwords.
• Voice: if you talk to Sparky, your speech is turned into text. We keep the text.
• Mobile number and text messages: if you choose to get texts from Sparky, your mobile number, when and how you agreed, and the texts you send and receive (see "Text messages" below).
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We see your plan and payment status, not your full card number.
• Usage: basic technical information (device, browser, pages used, and how you found us) to run, secure and improve the service.

2. How we use it

• To provide MarketingForge: understand your business, write and design content, schedule and publish what you approve, and show results.
• To run your account and billing, and send service messages (like your free trial ending or a post that failed).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To improve MarketingForge using overall usage patterns.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers. We don't use your content to train AI models.

Text messages (SMS)

Texts from Sparky are optional. You turn them on yourself in Your account by entering your mobile number and checking the box agreeing to receive them. We use your number only to text you about your own MarketingForge account: your weekly post plan, posts waiting for your approval, and account alerts. You can reply to approve posts or send photos.

• Message frequency varies, usually 1 to 4 messages a week. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or turn them off in Your account. Reply HELP for help, or email support@happypathsolutions.org.
• Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Texts are sent by Happy Path Solutions LLC, the owner of MarketingForge. Our text-message provider (Twilio) handles your number only to deliver our messages to you.

3. AI processing

Our AI features send the information needed for each task (for example, your business details and request) to our AI providers to create your content. Under their business terms, these providers don't use data sent through their APIs to train their models.

4. Who helps us run MarketingForge

We share information only with service providers that need it to do their job for us, under confidentiality and security obligations:

• Floot (app hosting, database and email delivery)
• OpenAI (writing, images, speech-to-text and voice)
• Zernio (connecting your social accounts, publishing and post results)
• Cloudinary (storing and editing photos and videos) and Creatomate (making videos)
• Google and other public-data providers (looking up your public business listing and reviews)
• Stripe (payments)
• Twilio (text messages, only if you turn them on)

The social platforms you connect receive the posts you approve and apply their own privacy policies. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business (with this policy still applying).

5. Who can see your information

The people you add to your account. Our small team doesn't browse your account; we look at its content only when you ask for help, to fix a problem, to keep the service secure, or if the law requires it.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to count visits. We don't use advertising cookies or sell browsing data. Blocking cookies may sign you out.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and we use access controls and trusted providers to protect stored data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

8. Your choices and rights

• Edit your business details, photos and what Sparky remembers in the app.
• Disconnect social accounts at any time.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it, by emailing privacy@happypathsolutions.org. We'll respond within 30 days.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. After you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law (like billing records). Posts already published stay on the platforms until you remove them there.

10. Children

MarketingForge is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Our Terms of Service also apply.
